Our Story

Elemental Energy Australia is a specialist engineering consultancy founded by Nathan Coad, BEng, MPhil, with more than 25 years of experience in battery research, product development and manufacturing scale-up.

Nathan's experience spans battery technologies and applications from flow batteries and stationary BESS for utility and commercial & industrial (C&I) applications, through to high-power battery systems for electric and diesel-hybrid drivetrains in mining and heavy industry.

Elemental has supported projects and partners across Australia, Asia, Europe, the UK and the USA, bringing together battery technology, systems engineering, product development and manufacturing experience.

Our focus is practical: helping clients select, develop and commercialise robust battery solutions while reducing technical risk, development time and cost.

Based in Perth, Western Australia.
